The People's Council of Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, term XX, 2021 - 2026, has just held its 14th session, dismissing and electing additional positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Yen Thanh district conducted legal procedures to dismiss the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and to terminate the duties of the 20th term People's Council delegate for Mr. Phan Van Tuyen (retired according to the regime).
Dismiss the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 and remove Mr. Phan Thanh Ha from the duties of District People's Council delegate, term XX, to retire according to the regime.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Yen Thanh district approved the proposal on personnel introduction, voted and elected Mr. Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026. The delegates voted, with 100% of the votes, to elect Mr. Vu Tuan Dung to hold the position of Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026.
At the meeting, the district People's Council delegates approved the proposal of the district People's Committee on the introduction for the district People's Council delegates to elect the additional position of Vice Chairman of the district People's Committee for Ms. Dang Thi Dung - Member of the District Party Executive Committee, Head of the District Finance Department. As a result, Ms. Dang Thi Dung was elected with 100% of the votes to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the district People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district thanked the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and delegates of the People's Council of Yen Thanh district for trusting him with the new tasks and responsibilities; affirmed to constantly strive to complete the assigned tasks well.
Mr. Vu Tuan Dung was born in 1976, originally from Yen Thanh district, and has held the following positions: Deputy Director of Nghe An Institute of Architecture and Construction Planning, Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai Town People's Committee, Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Construction.
On October 29, 2024, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Yen Thanh District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
