The National Election Council has just announced the official list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly (NA) deputies according to each constituency nationwide.
Through this, the National Election Council decided to announce 864 candidates in 182 electoral units to elect 500 National Assembly deputies.
According to this list, the candidate locations for key leaders are specifically allocated as: General Secretary To Lam running for election in Hanoi; Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man running for election in Ho Chi Minh City; Politburo member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu running for election in Da Nang City.
In Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam is running for election in constituency No. 1, including Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Dong Da, Kim Lien, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Lang, O Cho Dua wards.
Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man is running for election in constituency No. 12 of Ho Chi Minh City, including Hoc Mon, Xuan Thoi Son, Ba Diem, Phu Hoa Dong, Dong Thanh, Binh My, An Nhon Tay, Nhuan Duc, Thai My, Tan An Hoi, Cu Chi communes.
Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu is running for election in constituency No. 1 of Da Nang City, including wards: Hai Chau, Hoa Cuong, Thanh Khe, An Khe, Hoa Khanh, Lien Chieu, Hai Van.
Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc is running for election in Hanoi City; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang is running for election in Ho Chi Minh City.
In other centrally-run cities, there are Politburo members running for election including: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung running for election in Hai Phong City, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang running for election in Can Tho City, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung running for election in Hue City.
The remaining Politburo members nominated to many different localities such as: Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien nominated in Bac Ninh province; Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi nominated in Dak Lak; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri nominated in Dong Nai; Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc nominated in Ha Tinh; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security nominated in Hung Yen.
