At the same time, at the ceremony, Major General Huynh Van Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, presented the decision on retirement to Colonel Nguyen Van Hieu - Director of Dong Thap Provincial Police, from May 1, 2025.
Also at the ceremony, Major General Huynh Van Hai presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security, assigning the responsibility of Dong Thap Provincial Police to Colonel Vo Thi Hoai Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, from May 1, 2025, until there is another decision from the competent authority.
Also last week, on April 28, in Da Nang, the Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Minister of Public Security decided to take leave from work for Major General Vu Xuan Vien - Director of Da Nang City Police, to enjoy the pension regime from May 1, 2025.
At the same time, the Minister of Public Security also assigned Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police - to be in charge of Da Nang City Police while waiting for this position to be completed.
Major General Vu Xuan Vien (born in 1964, hometown in Tinh Hoa commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province). Before being appointed as Director of Da Nang City Police in August 2018, he held the position of Director of the General Staff Department (Ministry of Public Security).
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, born in 1979, hometown Ba Vi district, Hanoi city. Before being transferred to the position of Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong held the position of Head of the Department of Cultural, Sports and Social Labor Security, Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security.
