On November 25, in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri Province), the General Department of Customs held a ceremony to announce the decision to transfer and appoint the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department.
At the ceremony, the representative of the General Department of Customs announced the decision of the Director General of the General Department of Customs on the temporary transfer and appointment of Mr. Chu Quang Hai - Director of Nghe An Provincial Customs Department to hold the position of Director of Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department from December 1, 2024.
Also according to the decision of the General Director of the General Department of Customs, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Hai Phong City Customs Department for a limited period from December 1, 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director General of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Van Tho asked the new Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department Chu Quang Hai to promptly arrange the handover of work in Nghe An province to soon take up his duties in Quang Tri province.
After taking office, the new Director must continue to promote the tradition of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department to successfully complete its tasks. Focus on reforming, arranging, and building the Quang Tri Customs apparatus in a streamlined manner, applying information technology in the unit's operations... creating favorable conditions for business development, contributing to attracting investment to Quang Tri.
The leaders of the General Department of Customs also highly appreciated the achievements of Director of the Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong during his time as Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department, which contributed to the socio-economic development of Quang Tri province as well as the overall achievements of the Customs sector.
Attending the ceremony, Acting Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong, on behalf of Quang Tri provincial leaders, highly appreciated the achievements of Director of the Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong during his time as Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department.
In the coming time, the acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Customs as well as the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department will continue to pay attention, coordinate and support Quang Tri to overcome difficulties, so that the province can continue to synchronously complete infrastructure of border gates, economic zones, seaports, promote trade in border areas, strengthen investment promotion, as well as policies and procedures that are about to take effect related to the Customs sector.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Director of the Customs Department, Chu Quang Hai, expressed his honor and gratitude to the leaders of the General Department of Customs, the Ministry of Finance, and the leaders of Quang Tri province for their trust and confidence in assigning him the task.
In his new position, the new Director of Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department expressed his determination to make efforts, be responsible, and unite with the unit's leadership to successfully complete assigned tasks.
