The session implemented the content on personnel work under the authority of the City People's Council. Accordingly, dismissing the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Council of the XVII term, term 2026 - 2031 for Mr. Dao Trong Duc - Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, delegate of the City People's Council; dismissing the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee of the XVII term, term 2026 - 2031 for Mr. Vu Tien Phung, Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, delegate of the City People's Council.
The session proceeded to elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee of the XVII term, term 2026 - 2031. Accordingly, Mr. Le Tri Vu - Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the City Party Committee Organization Committee, delegate of the City People's Council of the XVII term was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Dao Trong Duc - Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, delegate of the City People's Council of the XVII term was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee of the XVII term, term 2026 - 2031.
Speaking at the closing of the session, Chairman of the City People's Council Le Van Hieu emphasized that at the session, the City People's Council considered and decided on personnel work and additionally elected 1 Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, 1 Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term. The election results, with high confidence votes, are proof of the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and also the entrustment of trust of the City People's Council delegates to the newly elected officials.
The Chairman of the City People's Council believes that the new Vice Chairmen of the City People's Council and Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee will continue to promote their capacity, bravery and spirit of dedication, together with the leadership of the City People's Council and People's Committee to innovate, be creative, proactive, and flexible in directing and operating, and successfully complete the assigned responsibilities.
