On the morning of September 19, the 15th Lai Chau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, announced the results of the first Conference of the Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, the Provincial Party Executive Committee of the XV term, 2025 - 2030 elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Provincial Party Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, XV term, 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Le Minh Ngan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, term XV, 2025 - 2030; elected Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee including: Mr. Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIV, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Sung A Ho - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The Congress also elected 13 comrades to the Provincial Party Standing Committee and 13 comrades to the Provincial Party Inspection Committee. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vinh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Le Minh Ngan - the new Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee thanked the Congress for its trust and affirmed that this is an honor and a heavy responsibility assigned to cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in Lai Chau province.
The Congress elected a delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party, consisting of 16 comrades.
Previously, according to Decision No. 2283-QDNS/TW dated August 30, 2025 of the Secretariat, Mr. Le Minh Ngan ceased to hold the position of Executive Committee Member, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment to transfer and appoint to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
The 15th Lai Chau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has 350 delegates attending, representing more than 31,000 party members of 42 Party Delegations under the province.
