On the afternoon of October 26, 2024, at the headquarters of the Central Economic Committee, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization chaired the Conference to announce and present the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of Central Economic Committee.
Speaking at the Decision Awarding Conference, Head of the Central Organization Le Minh Hung stated: Comrade Thai Thanh Quy is a cadre who has been trained and matured from the grassroots, having held many positions in Nghe An province. He has always completed his tasks excellently, making important contributions to the achievements and overall results of Nghe An province in recent years. Comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that the fact that Comrade Thai Thanh Quy was transferred and appointed to a very important position of the Party as Deputy Head of Central Economics demonstrates the Politburo's trust in him personally.
Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that Comrade Thai Thanh Quy quickly approach the job, promote his capacity, qualities, and experience, and together with the Central Economic Committee's leadership team, perform well the function of advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Secretariat in orienting the building and perfecting of economic institutions, planning major and important policies and measures of the Party on the country's socio-economy.
At the same time, comrade Le Minh Hung requested that the Head of Central Economics and the Board's leadership in the coming time continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines, especially the direction of the Politburo and the guiding ideology of comrade General Secretary To Lam in socio-economic development, bringing our country into a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Tran Luu Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Committee, thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for their attention in perfecting the Board's leadership team, as well as their attention to the work of strategic advice, policy making, guidelines and guidelines for the Party's socio-economic development. Comrade Head emphasized that Comrade Thai Thanh Quy is a well-trained cadre, has held many positions and accumulated a lot of practical experience. The presence of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy in the leadership team of the Central Economic Committee will increase the strength of the Board's leadership as well as the entire Board in performing assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Thai Thanh Quy expressed his gratitude to the Politburo for trusting him in appointing him to the new position. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy emphasized that this is an honor and a great responsibility for him, especially at a time when the Central Economic Commission is working with agencies and units to focus on advising the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat to summarize the implementation of the 13th National Party Congress resolution and thematic resolutions in the socio-economic field, and to draft documents to submit to the 14th National Party Congress. He also expressed his hope to receive the attention, direction, and assistance of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the effective coordination of central and local ministries and branches to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
