The 1st Congress of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, will take place from September 28-30, 2025 with the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party and comprehensive political system; promoting the strength of great national unity. At the official session on September 29, Mr. Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decisions appointing members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Member of the Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term I, 2025-2030, consists of 65 members, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, term I, consists of 17 members.
The Politburo appointed Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was born on October 1, 1977, hometown Hai Duong province (old) now Ninh Giang commune (Hai Phong), with a doctorate in Business Administration.
Before holding the position of Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Hung held the following positions: Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
