The 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, took place from September 28 to 30 at the Provincial Conference Center (Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province), with the participation of 440 delegates representing over 119,000 Party members in the entire Party Committee.
This Congress is the first time the province has organized a Digital Congress, strongly applying information technology and artificial intelligence in the entire process of operation, management and operation.
At the press conference on the afternoon of September 27, Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province and representatives of departments and branches provided specific information on the preparation and conduct of the Congress.
Accordingly, the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity; creating a breakthrough to build Lao Cai province into a growth zone, a center for international economic and trade connections, developing in a green, harmonious, unique and happy direction" and the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development".
This Congress is the first time Lao Cai province has organized a Digital Congress, strongly applying information technology and artificial intelligence in the entire process of operation, management and operation; from the stage of registering, managing delegates, documents, managing discussions, to communication, archiving, and document lookups. The implementation of the Digital Congress not only contributes to innovating the Party's leadership and management methods, but also demonstrates the province's high political determination in implementing comprehensive digital transformation, building a digital government, digital society, towards digital citizens.
The Congress will evaluate the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; propose directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, the draft documents of the Congress are edited concisely, concisely, easily understood, easy to remember, easy to implement, easy to evaluate; absorb the Central Government's guiding viewpoints, policies, and major orientations; fully grasp the key contents and core in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the important resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee; inherit the specific and unique goals and solutions of the two provinces before the merger, comprehensively cover the province's development space and space with the spirit of innovation, openness, responsibility, high political determination, and strong aspiration to soon develop Lao Cai.
