Regarding simplifying administrative procedures and citizen documents related to population management, ministries have simplified 247 administrative procedures and citizen documents in 25 legal documents, increasing the total number of administrative procedures and citizen documents issued. Simplified from 2022 to now is 828 administrative procedures, reaching 76%.
There are 7 ministries and agencies that have completed 100% implementation of the simplification plan; 10 ministries and agencies reached over 50%; 2 sets reached less than 50%. There are currently 256 administrative procedures that need to be further simplified in 1 law, 17 decrees, 10 joint circulars and 22 circulars.
At the meeting, Hanoi City proposed amending the Law on Criminal Records and related decrees; build a unified database on judicial records; continue to reduce criminal record checks in some application components.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City proposed that interested ministries and branches agree to share specialized data; Urgently announce decentralized administrative procedures for Ho Chi Minh City; The Government Office will soon issue a list of administrative procedures to be implemented locally.
Representatives of business associations recognized and appreciated the Government's efforts to reform administrative procedures in recent times, helping to significantly reduce time and costs for businesses, especially the implementation of online administrative procedures; We hope that administrative procedure reform will continue to be implemented more practically to promote growth.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang highly appreciated the positive changes in administrative procedure reform in the first half of the year, notably many administrative procedures continued to be reduced and simplified.
