Assign additional tasks to 3 Deputy Prime Ministers

    The Decision clearly states the consolidation and assignment of Deputy Prime Ministers as Chairmen of Regional Coordination Councils.

    Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1340/QD-TTg dated November 6, 2024, completing the assignment of Deputy Prime Ministers to act as Chairmen of the Coordination Council for the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Regions, the Central Highlands, and the Mekong Delta.

    Accordingly, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh is Chairman of the Central Highlands Coordination Council.

    Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long is Chairman of the Mekong Delta Coordination Council.

    Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc is Chairman of the Coordination Council for the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

    This Decision comes into force from November 6, 2024.
