At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Ministry in recent times with many bright spots.
Accordingly, continue to strongly transform the thinking from cultural practice to state management of culture; focus on advising and removing bottlenecks and bottlenecks for development; institutions and policies on culture, journalism, and publishing are supplemented, developed newly, increasingly comprehensively and deeply.
Many major cultural events were successfully organized, mobilizing the large participation of the masses.
Vietnam's cultural industries continue to have remarkable developments, both bringing economic efficiency, improving the spiritual life of the people, and promoting profound human values and good traditions of the nation to international friends.
Tourism continues to recover strongly, a bright spot in Vietnam's economic picture in 2024 and the first 3 months of 2025.

Mass sports continue to develop, spreading in all ages and regions, attracting the participation of the masses. High-performance sports have achieved some positive results, creating excitement and enthusiasm among the people.
Information orientation work has been carried out promptly and accurately, serving political tasks and protecting the Party's fundamental ideology. Cultural diplomacy has been actively implemented, creating an impression on international friends.
Sharing the difficulties and challenges of the culture, sports and tourism sector, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the sector advise on solutions, continue to make efforts, strive, overcome difficulties to complete tasks in the coming time.
Regarding tasks in 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the sector to innovate thinking, make breakthroughs, create space for cultural development; build families, develop physical education, sports, tourism, journalism, radio, television, news, and publishing.
In addition, there should be breakthrough policies to develop science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Regarding key tasks, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry to advise on institutional improvement; develop and submit for promulgation detailed documents guiding the implementation of the law. Proactively coordinate with the National Assembly agencies, relevant ministries and branches in the process of reviewing, amending and supplementing a number of laws of the sector, ensuring quality and progress requirements.
Regarding public investment, the Deputy Prime Minister said that he will work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the spirit of actively implementing, having met the conditions to be determined to do it but needing focus and key points, not spreading or creating breakthroughs in development.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to specify Resolution 57; Resolution 03 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
In particular, it is necessary to advise the Government to issue regulations on the entertainment industry, cultural industry, promote digital transformation, and apply science and technology.
Continue to focus on building a healthy cultural environment, perfecting personality, developing people, building a family and ethnic cultural system, contributing to the implementation of the industry's tasks.
