On the morning of July 24, the Lam Vien - Da Lat Ward Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
The congress was attended by 240/240 delegates, representing 67 grassroots Party organizations and 2,431 Party members in the ward.
Mr. Dang Quang Tu - Secretary of the Party Committee of Lam Vien - Da Lat Ward said that the Congress is an important political event, marking a new turning point in the organization of the Party and grassroots government, after implementing the policy of building a two-level local government model.
In Da Lat city, three wards (8, 9, 12) were merged into Lam Vien ward, the locality has made efforts to overcome difficulties, achieved many achievements in socio-economics, national defense - security, and Party building. Many targets exceeded the plan, especially in finance and budget collection.
In her speech, Ms. Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province emphasized: "The theme of the Congress is Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting democracy, innovation, promoting digital transformation; effectively exploiting resources to develop trade, services, and develop the night-time economy; continuing to develop agriculture associated with tourism and environmental protection.
This clearly demonstrated the goal and determination of the entire Party Committee and People of the ward to build Lam Vien - Da Lat ward for comprehensive and sustainable development in the coming time".
In the 2025-2030 term, Lam Vien - Da Lat ward focuses on building a clean and strong Party and political system, improving leadership capacity, reforming administration and developing Party members from the grassroots.
In terms of socio-economics, the ward promotes the strengths of tourism - services, agricultural tourism, traditional flower villages; attracts investment, develops the private economy, and plans synchronous infrastructure; maintains modern and sustainable agriculture associated with environmental protection. At the same time, promote digital transformation, apply technology, digitize data, and improve digital skills for staff and people.
In the field of culture and society, the ward focuses on building a civilized life, preserving local identity, improving the quality of education, healthcare, vocational training, job creation and ensuring social security.
At the same time, Lam Vien ward has strengthened national defense and security, built a core force, maintained self-management models, residential management, fire prevention and fighting and promptly handled arising issues to maintain a safe and friendly locality.
