At nearly 5:00 p.m. on July 25, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh - Director of Ky Anh Town General Hospital - said that currently, about half of the 13 patients injured in the passenger bus overturn in Song Tri Ward being treated here have been discharged from the hospital.
"They were slightly injured, many of them were relatives of the victims who died, so they asked to go home to arrange the funeral for their loved ones," Ms. Oanh informed.
According to Ms. Oanh, the remaining patients were also slightly injured, and are expected to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow (July 26).

According to Ms. Oanh, before that, at nearly noon, the hospital transferred an injured patient to Ha Tinh General Hospital.
Information from Ha Tinh General Hospital, after receiving patient Souliphone TLK (born in 1996, male, Lao nationality), because this patient suffered a cervical spine injury - T-ring injury, he was transferred to Hue Central Hospital for treatment.
As Lao Dong reported, at around 2:10 a.m. on July 25, at Km571+800 National Highway 1A, through Dong Trinh Residential Group, Song Tri Ward, a sleeper bus with license plate 43F-007.76 driven by driver Le Ngoc Thanh (born in 1989, residing in Thanh Hoa Province) crashed into a milestone on the side of the road and overturned, killing 10 people and injuring 14 others.
The authorities have conducted a test of the alcohol and drug concentration of this driver and the result is negative. This passenger bus also has a waiting period for inspection.
The driver stated to the authorities that the passenger bus had a flat tire and lost control, leading to the accident. The cause is currently being investigated and clarified.
