Accordingly, Mr. Trinh Minh Duc - Chief of Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, People's Council of Quang Nam province was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs (after merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs).
Mr. Nguyen Nhu Cong - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee was transferred to work at the Department of Finance and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Finance (after merging with the Department of Planning and Investment).
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Director of the Department of Construction was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Construction (after merging with the Department of Transport).
Mr. Bui Ngoc Anh - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment (after merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment).
Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology (after merging with the Department of Information and Communications).
Mr. A Vo To Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Giang district was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the province. Previously, the newly established Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was based on the Provincial Ethnic Committee receiving additional functions and tasks, organizing the State management apparatus of beliefs and religions from the Department of Home Affairs.
In addition, the conference also announced the decision to appoint Mr. Thai Hoang Vu - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district as Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province.
Mr. Vo Van Diem - Director of the Provincial Agricultural Development Project Management Board was appointed as Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (after merging the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Provincial Rural Development Agricultural Construction Project Management Board).
At the 29th session held on February 19, the People's Council of Quang Nam province passed a Resolution on the establishment, merger and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. After establishment, consolidation, and reorganization, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province has 13 specialized agencies (reducing 6 departments and branches).
