On the morning of December 30, Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the establishment of the new Que Son District Party Committee, on the basis of merging the Nong Son District Party Committee into the old Que Son District Party Committee and announcing decisions on personnel work.
At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee appointed the new Executive Committee of the Que Son District Party Committee (term XXV, term 2020-2025) consisting of 61 members, the new Standing Committee of the Que Son District Party Committee consisting of 19 members, under the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu, former Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee, was appointed to hold the position of new Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee; Messrs. Nguyen Van Hoa, Vo Van Nhan and Ngo Van Sy hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the District Party Committee.
The Standing Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee also decided to transfer Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son district to work at the Provincial People's Committee from January 1, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee decided to accept and appoint Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son to the position of Deputy Director of the Project Management Board of Traffic Works of Quang Nam Province.
According to Quang Nam Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, the merger of the entire administrative boundaries of Nong Son district into Que Son district is to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity of the two localities; is an opportunity for Que Son district to concentrate resources, promote potentials and advantages, expand space; attract investment, create new development momentum, promote growth and economic restructuring, improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
