Implementing the policy of streamlining the administrative apparatus and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee has just issued Plan No. 549, aiming to complete the completion of the operation of district-level administrative units before May 31, 2025.
According to the plan, the Organizing Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee will preside over the advice of evaluation of the scheme not to organize the district level, arrange and reorganize communal administrative units. The district Party Committee will officially end the operation, while the newly established communal and ward party committees and under the Provincial Party Committee.
The implementation roadmap is that before April 15, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee will advise on temporary regulations on standards and conditions for the arrangement of key cadres at the new commune and ward levels.
Before April 30, 2025, complete the project to end the activities of district-level party committees and establish new commune and ward party committees.
Before May 31, 2025, complete the arrangement and transfer of cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, in accordance with the new administrative model.
Before July 1, 2025, issue a decision to establish a new commune and ward party committee directly under the province, ending the activities of district-level party committees.
The implementation of the arrangement of district-level administrative units is a big step, helping to streamline the apparatus and improve operational efficiency. However, ensuring the stability of the apparatus, avoiding disruption in the operations of state agencies and people's lives is a big challenge.
Quang Nam is resolutely implementing the set tasks, gradually realizing the administrative reform policy, towards a streamlined, efficient and better-serving apparatus to serve the needs of the people.
