The congress was attended by more than 350 delegates representing collectives, Heroes of Labor, emulation fighters and typical advanced soldiers in the whole province.
Over the past 5 years, emulation movements in Quang Ninh have been associated with the implementation of political tasks, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and achieving achievements in celebrating major holidays and important political events.
Many outstanding movements have been widely implemented, such as: "Quang Ninh joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor - no one is left behind", "All people protect national security", "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security".
The movements have mobilized many social resources, creating a vibrant and widespread atmosphere, contributing to building a civilized and prosperous Quang Ninh.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council - acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of Quang Ninh province in the period of 2020-2025, and highly appreciated the goals and solutions for the new period.
The Vice President hopes that Quang Ninh will continue to promote the tradition of "discipline and unity", comprehensively innovate emulation movements, focus on timely, accurate and democratic rewards; pay attention to direct workers and cadres at the grassroots level; organize the 16th Provincial Party Congress well, strive to build a beautiful, civilized and modern Quang Ninh, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030.
Launching the emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period, Mr. Vu Van Dien - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - emphasized the task of the entire Party Committee, government, army and people in the province to continue to innovate and promote the patriotic emulation movement in all fields, associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, creating momentum to successfully complete the socio-economic development goals, maintain national defense and security, and develop Quang Ninh sustainably in the new period.
At the congress, many outstanding collectives and individuals were honored and rewarded; good and creative ways of doing things in the patriotic emulation movement were shared and spread, contributing to strongly encouraging movements in the coming time.
