Speaking at the opening of the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said, based on the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; Rules of the National Assembly session and opinions of competent authorities; Today, the 15th National Assembly held its 8th Extraordinary Session to consider decisions on personnel work under the authority of the National Assembly.
The meeting takes place in 1 day, Monday, August 26, 2024 at the National Assembly building. The National Assembly will discuss and give opinions on the dismissal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the dismissal of the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy to take on other tasks.
The National Assembly also approved the dismissal of a Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice to take on other tasks.
