Dak Lak - According to the plan, Dak Lak will reduce 75% of commune-level administrative units after the arrangement.

On March 27, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province reported a draft plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units.

Currently, Dak Lak has 180 communes, wards and towns in 1 city, 1 town and 13 districts.

It is expected that after the arrangement, this province will have 45 commune-level administrative units. Thus, if following the above arrangement plan, Dak Lak will reduce 75% of commune-level administrative units.

Currently, the above option is still of the expected nature. The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has implemented the consultation of departments, branches and localities before making an official plan.

Dak Lak province currently has a natural area of over 13,070.41km2 and a population of nearly 2 million people.
