Infinite loyalty to the interests of the nation and class
Over the past 95 years (1930 - 2025), since its inception, the Communist Party of Vietnam has established and firmly affirmed its leadership role, strength and prestige through its own mettle, determination, morality and intelligence; through pioneering theories, correct guidelines, through the example and sacrifice of many generations of cadres and party members...
The Party has led the country to overcome numerous difficulties and challenges and achieve many great and historic achievements. In addition, after nearly 40 years of renovation under the Party's leadership, our country has accumulated enough strength and position for breakthrough development in the next period.
According to the Central Propaganda Department, in the process of leading the revolution, our Party has built many valuable traditions, demonstrating its good nature.
It is the tradition of infinite loyalty to the interests of the nation and class, steadfast in the goal and ideal of national independence associated with socialism on the basis of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought.
Only by following the revolutionary path chosen by our Party and Uncle Ho can the Vietnamese revolution achieve complete victory, our country will be truly independent; our people will be truly free; and our people will have an increasingly prosperous and happy life.
That is the tradition of maintaining independence and autonomy in policy; firmly grasping, applying and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism, referring to international experience to set out correct policies and effectively organize the implementation of revolutionary tasks.
In each period, our Party has always been imbued with the viewpoint that truth is concrete, revolution is creative, and starting from Vietnamese reality to determine the direction, tasks, and methods of the Vietnamese revolution.
Blood bond between the Party and the people
Dr. Nguyen Viet Chuc - Deputy Head of the Cultural - Social Advisory Council, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - affirmed the tradition of blood ties between the Party and the people, always taking serving the people as the reason for living and the goal to strive for.
“Our people have nurtured and protected the Party since its early days, wholeheartedly believing in the Party, supporting and striving to implement the Party’s guidelines and policies. The endless strength of the people creates the invincible strength of the Party; the source of the Party’s strength lies in its close bond with the people, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc,” said Dr. Nguyen Viet Chuc.
Along with that is the tradition of solidarity, unity, organization and strict discipline based on the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism, criticism and comradely love.
Having gone through harsh trials in imperialist prisons, before the bayonets and guns of the enemy or on the battlefield of fire and bullets, Vietnamese communists have set shining examples of solidarity, love for each other, and of comradeship and team spirit.
Along with that is the tradition of loyal and pure international solidarity based on noble principles and goals. This is the solid foundation for our Party to form and successfully implement the correct foreign policy through the periods, promoting to the peak the combination of national strength with the strength of the times, bringing the Vietnamese revolution to continuous development.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, the precious traditions of our Party are the inheritance and promotion of the fine traditions of the nation, of the Vietnamese working class and the international working class to a new height of the era.
That is the strength that ensures the Party's leadership role; it is the result of a process of persistent cultivation and construction, the blood sacrifices and tireless efforts of generations of cadres and Party members. Those traditions of the Party have profound national and international significance, demonstrating a radical revolutionary spirit.
“Since its inception, the Party has grasped the development trend of the times, linked the Vietnamese revolutionary movement with the world revolutionary movement, and correctly resolved the issue of national independence and socialism. On the path of development, our Party has constantly made appropriate decisions, met historical requirements, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and led the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another,” Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam emphasized.
