The national conference on training on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for cadres of Party committees and Party agencies was held in person and online.

On the morning of September 11, the Central Party Office held a national conference on training on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for cadres of Party committees and Party agencies.

The conference was held in a face-to-face combination online, connecting the bridge points at the Party Central Committee Office Headquarters with the bridge points nationwide. Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Vo Thanh Hung attended and delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development, the Central Party Office has issued a Plan to organize a training conference on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for cadres of Party committees and Party agencies, with the requirement of synchronization and unity of the entire system from the Central to the commune and ward levels.

In the context of national digital transformation entering an accelerated phase, AI is not only a technology to promote productivity, but also a core capacity to modernize the Party's leadership, direction and management methods; improve the quality of consultation and synthesis; shorten the time for handling work, contributing to building professional, transparent, effective and efficient Party committees and agencies.

Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Office Vo Thanh Hung emphasized that the training conference sets three key goals: Raising awareness of the role, potential and orientation of AI application in the work of Party committees and advisory agencies - from research, consulting, synthesizing to organizing implementation, supervising implementation; equipping basic knowledge and skills to be able to use some popular AI tools in supporting consultation, information synthesis, document analysis, draft preparation, planning and reporting; forming the right attitude and responsibility in using AI: safety, confidentiality, compliance with Party regulations and State laws; in accordance with political and ideological orientation.

"Through this course, I hope that you will have more knowledge to be able to use AI tools safely and effectively, forming the right attitude and responsibility in using AI" - Mr. Hung said.

At the conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy - University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - discussed the topic of Overview and the role of AI in Party work (basic concept, development trend, scenario for applying AI to research, consulting, synthesizing, and analyzing documents).

Delegates also heard about the current popular AI tools such as Chat GPT, Gemini, Notion AI, Canva AI. Delegates were also trained in skills to apply a number of AI tools to support consulting, synthesizing and analyzing documents, building reports, planning, synthesizing documents, etc.

Delegates attending the training were also thoroughly informed about the responsible use of AI, ensuring security, ethics, and compliance with regulations; were answered and shared experiences in using AI in party work.

According to the plan, the conference will take place on September 11 and 12. Previously, the first phase of the conference was held on September 9 and 10.
