An Hai ward imported the entire natural area, the population size of the wards: An Dong, Hong Thai and part of Dong Thai, An Hai and Le Loi wards. An Phong Ward on the basis of entering the entire natural area, the population of the wards: An Hoa, Hong Phong and part of Le Thien, Le Loi, Tan Tien and part of the village, Hong Bang district.
Kien An District People's Council approved the policy of arranging administrative units into two wards, Kien An wards (including the majority of Dong Hoa ward, most of Bac Son wards, Tran Thanh Ngo, part of Nam Son and Van Dau wards) and Phu Lien ward (including Bac Ha, Ngoc Son wards, most of Van Dau and Nam Son wards, part of Dong Hoa and Bac Son wards, part of Tran Thanh Ngo wards and partial parts of Truong Son district).
The People's Council of Duong Kinh District also unanimously approved the policy of rearranging ward-level administrative units under the district. Accordingly, Duong Kinh district will establish 2 new wards, Duong Kinh and Hung Dao wards. In which, Hung Dao ward will merge the area and population of Da Phuc ward, Hung Dao ward, part of Anh Dung and Hai Thanh wards. Duong Kinh ward merged Hoa Nghia and Tan Thanh wards (except Do Son Industrial Park), part of Hai Thanh and Anh Dung wards.
Similarly, Thuy Nguyen City will reorganize 21 commune-level administrative units to form 8 new administrative units, including 7 wards of Thuy Nguyen, Thien Huong, Hoa Binh, Nam Trieu, Bach Dang, Luu Kiem, Le Ich Moc and Viet Khe Commune.
Vinh Bao district reorganizes 20 existing commune-level administrative units to establish 7 new communes, including: Nguyen Binh Khiem, Vinh Am, Vinh Hai, Vinh Bao, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Thuan and Vinh Thinh.
The Hai An District People's Council approved the policy of arranging administrative units into 2 wards, Hai An and Dong Hai.
Tien Lang district reorganizes 19 commune-level administrative units into 6 communes including Quyet Thang, Tien Lang, Tan Minh, Tien Minh, Chan Hung and Hung Thang commune.
Kien Thuy district plans to merge 16 communes and towns into 5 new communes including: Kien Thuy, Kien Minh, Kien Hai, Kien Hung and Nghi Duong.
An Lao district has a plan to name 5 new communes: An Lao, An Khanh, An Quang, An Truong, An Hung.
Hong Bang District will reorganize 10 ward administrative units to establish 2 new wards, ensuring that both natural area and population size standards are met, including Hong Bang Ward and Hong An Ward.
Do Son District plans to establish 2 new wards with the proposed names of Do Son and Nam Do Son wards.
Ngo Quyen District has a policy of arranging 8 ward administrative units under the district to establish 2 new wards, expected names are Ngo Quyen and Gia Vien wards.
7 administrative units of Le Chan district will be arranged and merged to establish 2 new wards with the expected names of Le Chan ward and An Bien ward.
The People's Council of Cat Hai district also approved the policy of establishing Cat Hai Special Zone on the basis of transferring the status quo of Cat Hai district.
Also according to the project to reorganize commune-level administrative units, Hai Phong established Bach Long Vi special zone on the basis of changing the status quo of Bach Long Vi district.
