Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed decisions approving the results of the election and dismissal of the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
In Decision No. 389/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Previously, on March 4, 2026, at the 9th session of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council, XV term, 2021-2026, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was trusted by the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes in favor.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh was born in 1974, from Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province; Master of Economic Management, Senior in Political Theory.
Before being elected as Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, he held the positions of: Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen City Party Committee; Chairman of Thai Nguyen City People's Committee (old); Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
At the same time, in Decision No. 387/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of dismissal from the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Huy Tuan.
Previously, on March 2, 2026, at the conference to implement the cadre work process for electing the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was elected by the Executive Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030 with an absolute vote of 100%.
Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was born in 1974, originally from Yen Bai province, now belonging to Lao Cai province; is an irrigation engineer, Bachelor of Political Economics, Master of Natural Resources and Environment Economics.
He used to hold many positions in Yen Bai province (old) such as: Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and then Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee.
