On March 8, the Department of Administrative Management of Order and Social Affairs (C06, Ministry of Public Security) informed that in addition to monitoring the polling area on voter cards, monitoring the list of candidates and the list of voters publicly posted at polling areas and commune-level People's Committees, citizens can use the National Assembly Election function on VNeID to monitor the polling area and the list of candidates.
The National Assembly Election function on the VNeID application aims to support voters to look up and update information about the voting area to ensure the right to participate in the election in accordance with regulations, and at the same time view necessary information of candidates so that voters can proactively learn, raise awareness and responsibility when participating in the election.
Voting area of voters
Here, the voting area and voting scope of each citizen according to the personal identification account are displayed, helping to provide information to citizens. Supporting the function of creating changes to voting location requirements contributes to building digital citizens in the digital transformation era. Citizens have level 2 electronic identification accounts.
How to do it:
Step 1: Access the 16th National Assembly Election function. Citizens log in to the VNeID application, on the home screen of the level 2 electronic identification account, click Other Services -> click 16th National Assembly Election.
Step 2: Verify with passcode or fingerprint/face (depending on the authentication configuration of the account on the device).
Step 3: In the Function of the 16th National Assembly Election, select the Voter's Polling Area -> the system displays the Voter's Polling Area screen.
Step 4: Create a change request
Click Change -> Select the voting location you want to change and click Confirm.
In case citizens choose to vote elsewhere (According to Article 34 of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies - Consolidated Document No. 85/VBHN-VPQH dated August 20, 2025), the system displays the information field New place of voting registration:
Tap New Voting Register, the system displays an address selection screen.

Voters should note to fill in complete information about the reasons for the change and contact information so that the People's Committee and the Commune-level Police can contact and exchange information.
Step 5: The display screen creates a successful request and the results will be updated on the VNeID application.
Click Back to return to the Voting area screen.
Press History request to change the voting location to view history.
Tap the Voting Certificate elsewhere to view the Voting Certificate elsewhere: The Voting Certificate elsewhere appears when the current voting information of the citizen is "other place".
Citizens will not be able to create other requests for change when a request for change of voting place is being processed.
List of candidates
The function allows citizens to view the list of candidates participating in the election by region, support citizens in finding candidates and view details of candidates by region. Citizens have level 2 electronic identification accounts.
How to do it:
Step 1: Access the function screen
At the function session of the 16th National Assembly election, select the List of candidates.
Step 2: Search for candidates
Select the constituency.
Select address: Citizens click to select address, the system displays the cadastral selection interface
After successfully selecting the address, citizens press Search to search for a list according to the selected address. The system displays a list of candidates according to the selected criteria.
Step 3: See details of the candidate
In the List of candidates, press Details > in the name of the citizen candidate you want to see details.
At See details, click See now to see Candidate Information.
