On the afternoon of February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), after wishing a Happy New Year and giving gifts to cadres, engineers and workers who are working through the Lunar New Year at the Long Thanh airport project site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation visited, encouraged and wished a Happy New Year to engineers and workers who are working through the Lunar New Year at Nhon Trach bridge, part of the 1A Ring Road 3 component project of Ho Chi Minh City.
Here, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, contractors, engineers and workers who have stayed at the construction site during the past time, especially during Tet. At the same time, the Prime Minister requested special attention to the quality of the project and the lives of workers and laborers.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister gave gifts and lucky money to officers, engineers and workers who were working during Tet at the construction site.
Reporting to the Prime Minister and the working delegation, the My Thuan Project Management Board said that component project 1A is 8.22km long, including 6.30km through Dong Nai province and 1.92km in Ho Chi Minh City.
The project starts at the intersection with Provincial Road 25B, in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province (Km 5+000) and ends at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city (Km 13+220).
The project includes the Nhon Trach bridge package, 2,600m long, and the approach road package at both ends of the bridge, 5,620m long.
In particular, the Nhon Trach bridge package started construction on September 24, 2022. Up to now, the main Nhon Trach bridge has completed 3 middle spans, and the 2 border spans will be completed in February 2025.
The bid for the approach road at both ends of the bridge will start construction on May 29, 2023.
Up to now, the total progress of the whole project has reached 85.1%, exceeding 8.4% compared to the contract.
However, the contractor still organized construction throughout Tet to ensure progress, striving to complete the project by April 30, 2025.
