On the morning of June 8, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul arrived in Hanoi, beginning an official visit to Vietnam and attending the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum from June 8-9, at the invitation of Politburo Member, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Minh Hung.
Welcoming the delegation at Noi Bai International Airport were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs Nguyen Dinh Khang; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan; Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung.
Accompanying Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul on an official visit to Vietnam and attending the ASEAN Futures Forum 2026 were: Ms. Thananon Charnvirakul, Prime Minister's Wife; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun; Minister of the Prime Minister's Office Paradorn Prissananantakul; Minister of National Defense Adul Boonthumjaroen; Minister of Tourism and Sports Surasak Phancharoenworakul; Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Suriya Jungrungreangkit; Minister of Energy Akanat Promphan; Minister of Industry Varawut Silpa-archa; Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya and other delegates.
2026 is of particular importance as Vietnam and Thailand jointly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The visit of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul took place only 10 days after the official visit to Thailand by General Secretary and President To Lam.
