On April 2, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Sivak on the occasion of a visit and work in Vietnam, co-chaired the 16th Meeting of the Vietnam - Belarus Intergovernmental Committee on Economic - Trade and Scientific - Technical Cooperation, attending the Exhibition "Vietnam EXPO 2025" and the Vietnam - Belarus Business Forum in Hanoi.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the field of education and training is a traditional area of cooperation, suggesting that the two sides increase scholarship exchanges, especially in basic science, arts, and training high-quality human resources in industries in line with the world's development trend. The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in automobile production, agricultural machinery manufacturing, and railway development.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Sivak expressed his pleasure at leading the high-ranking delegation of the Belarusese Government to Vietnam for the first time as Deputy Prime Minister, attending the bilateral Intergovernmental Committee Meeting and participating in many other important activities to promote cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of economy - trade and science - technology between Vietnam and Belarus.
