On the evening of September 14, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with Dak Lak province to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival "Lanterns light up dreams" with the theme "Mid-Autumn Festival with friends, happy to go to school".
According to the Office of the Government, the program is connected online to 13 points in provinces and cities, including: Hai Phong, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Tien Giang...
At the Mid-Autumn Festival, more than 1,700 disadvantaged children from localities in the province enjoyed attractive performances and interacted with children at connecting points across the country.
Also at the program, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers presented 200 gifts to disadvantaged children in the province.
Of these, 100 children received a gift worth 1.8 million VND/child (a scholarship of 1 million VND, a backpack and a Mid-Autumn Festival gift). The remaining 100 children received a gift worth 2.3 million VND/child (1 bicycle and 1 Mid-Autumn Festival gift).
Speaking at the program, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that every Mid-Autumn Festival, children get to play together, immerse themselves in the warm atmosphere with their parents and grandparents, gather around the moon-watching tray; and get to carry colorful lanterns with friends, play fairy tale games and dream of good things.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government requested that all levels, sectors, organizations, parents, teachers, and youth union members continue to take more practical actions.
In particular, it is necessary to pay attention, care for, create the most favorable environment and conditions so that all children, regardless of age, grade, mountainous or plain, border or remote islands, can play, study and develop comprehensively, live in love, in a safe and healthy living environment, contributing to the good implementation of the Party and State's policies on child care and protection.
In particular, for the children living in flood and landslide areas this year, they need special attention from the Party Committees and authorities; the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers need to have special initiatives and make special efforts to organize a warm Mid-Autumn Festival for the children to ease the difficulties and ease the losses they are facing.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister hopes that every child will have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival with their loved ones, continue to practice Uncle Ho's Five Teachings, be filial to grandparents and parents, respect teachers, and be polite to adults.
At the same time, we must unite and help friends in difficult circumstances to stay in school and class together; study hard and cultivate virtue and talent to later become the masters of building our country to become more and more prosperous and civilized.

The children's determination and aspirations need to be cared for, encouraged, and cheered on by kind hearts and hands, accompanied, and given more faith and strength to support and light up their dreams," Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government advised.
With the desire to encourage children to strive to excel in life and study, at the program, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and leaders presented thousands of Mid-Autumn gifts such as school backpacks, bicycles, and scholarships to disadvantaged children in Dak Lak province and children participating in the program at the connecting points.
Within the framework of the Working Program in Dak Lak province, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Nguyen Hoa Binh and the Working Delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Tung (residing in residential group 3, Tan Hoa ward, Buon Ma Thuot city).
Here, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh kindly inquired about the health and expressed the deep gratitude of the Party, State and people for the sacrifices of martyrs in the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.
