At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam - Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee - gave a summary report on the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the guidelines and Resolutions of the Central Government and the strategic orientation and tasks for the development of Ha Tinh province.
In the first quarter of 2026, Ha Tinh province focused on leading and directing the drastic and synchronous implementation of action programs to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Thanks to this, the growth rate in the first quarter reached 12.42%, leading the country. Budget revenue reached nearly 6,000 billion VND (up 22%); total social investment capital reached nearly 14,000 billion VND (up 10%); investment attraction achieved outstanding results.
The province is focusing at the highest level on the action program to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, 9 key resolutions of the Politburo and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
Decisively implement solutions to maximize the differentiated potential and competitive advantages, making Ha Tinh a center of industry - ecological energy, international logistics, towards sustainable development with a cultural - creative urban model; maintaining a growth rate of 10% or more.
At the working session, members of the Central working delegation spoke, suggesting solutions to promote potentials, advantages and remove difficulties and obstacles for Ha Tinh province to successfully implement socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the coming time.

Focus on investing in strategic infrastructure, improving the efficiency of public investment; strengthening connections with localities of Laos, Thailand and the region, soon making Ha Tinh an important trade hub of the North Central region.
Developing agriculture in an ecological, modern, and digital transformation direction; associated with building new rural areas, developing rural economy, and community tourism. At the same time, continue to improve the 2-level government model in the direction of integrity and creation; build a team of cadres who dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility.
Focus on improving the quality of comprehensive education, developing high-quality human resources; ensuring social security work; firmly consolidating national defense and security, maintaining a stable and safe environment for development.
