At the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, on the afternoon of April 21, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and his wife arrived in Hanoi, starting a state visit to Vietnam from April 21.
According to VNA, welcoming the delegation at Noi Bai International Airport were: Chairman of the Presidential Office Le Khanh Hai; Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang; Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho.

The delegation included Ms. Kim Hae Kyung - First Lady of President Lee Jae Myung; Mr. Bae Kyung Hoon - Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Science, Technology, Information and Communications; Mr. Cho Hyun - Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Kim Jung Kwan - Minister of Industry, Trade and Natural Resources; Mr. Kim Yun Duk - Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; Mr. Wi Sung Lac - Chief of the Presidential Security Office; Mr. Kim Yong Beom - Chief of the Presidential Policy Office; Mr. Choi Young Sam - Korean Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr. Lee Kyu Youn - Senior Assistant of the President for Press and Communications; Mr. Ha Jung Woo - Senior Assistant of the President for Future Artificial Intelligence Policy Planning; Mr. Choi Hee Deok - Assistant of the President for Foreign Policy; Ms. Kang Kum Sil - Ambassador for Climate Change and Environment.
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung was born on December 22, 1964. He is a Bachelor of Laws, Chung Ang University, South Korea. From 2025 to present, Mr. Lee Jae Myung is the President of the Republic of Korea.
