On the afternoon of March 4, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam - Head of the Central Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development (Steering Committee) - chaired the second meeting of the Steering Committee.

Also attending the meeting were Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia.

Also attending the meeting were Politburo members, Secretariat members, and Steering Committee members.

At the beginning of the meeting, General Secretary To Lam said that the Steering Committee met to agree on action plans and programs, and widely deploy them.

From there, it assessed the advantages and difficulties in implementing Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in recent times.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that we want to achieve many goals at the same time, so there is a lot of work. The world is developing very quickly, if we move slowly, we will be behind.

Therefore, the meeting will review the policy, remove bottlenecks and obstacles and propose solutions to implement Resolution 57, so that the resolution is effective and can be applied to real life.
