Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School is built in Nam Chim 1 village, Si Pa Phin commune. This is the first project to reach the finish line in the campaign to build 248 schools in border areas according to the policy of the Politburo.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that our Party always identifies education and training as a top national policy, a foundation for rapid and sustainable national development.
For border areas, remote and isolated areas, education is not only about improving people's knowledge and training human resources, but also a fundamental and long-term solution to maintain national sovereignty from the root - that is people, a community of residents attached to land, villages, border lines, and landmarks.
The Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding School project has been built spaciously, synchronously, ensuring quality, safety and functionality, a vivid proof of the spirit of saying and doing; once done, do it thoroughly.

To date, the first 100 schools in border communes of 18 provinces and cities have been started.
Many projects are being implemented with rapid progress and guaranteed quality; most schools are constructing on schedule, striving to complete before August 30, 2026 to put them into use from the 2026-2027 school year.
At the inauguration ceremony, General Secretary To Lam officially launched the simultaneous deployment of the construction of the remaining 148 inter-level boarding schools, out of a total of 248 schools in 248 land border communes.
On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders presented meaningful gifts to teachers and students of the school; witnessed the ceremony of handing over cooperation documents between leaders of Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (Hanoi) and Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding School.
Started at the end of July 2025, the project has a scale of 6.88 hectares, implemented by a consortium of Sun Group and Trading and Construction Company No. 6 from capital support from Hanoi City and socialized sources.
With a design inspired by traditional stilt houses, Si Pa Phin inter-level school meets the learning and accommodation needs of more than 1,000 students.
Accordingly, the learning area has 31 standard classrooms, 14 subject rooms, educational equipment rooms, music rooms, STEM rooms, school counseling rooms and a library system.
The dormitory and official residence include a school administration room, 120 dormitory rooms for students and 15 official rooms for teachers.
