National Assembly deputies (NADs) Nguyen Quoc Duyet - Lieutenant General, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command; Nguyen Phi Thuong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Construction all participated in meeting voters at the No. 1 election unit of Hanoi City (Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung).
Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, leaders of Hanoi's agencies and units welcomed General Secretary To Lam and members of the National Assembly.
The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on May 5, 2025 and is expected to close on the morning of June 28, 2025. The National Assembly will convene a concentrated meeting at the National Assembly House.
Accordingly, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will be held in 2 phases: Phase 1: From September 5 to May 28, 2025; Phase 2: From June 11 to the morning of June 28, 2025.
The National Assembly Standing Committee has scheduled the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In particular, it is recommended that the National Assembly allow adjustment of some contents of the Session, specifically as follows:
Supplement to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
Supplement to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval 13 draft laws to continue serving the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, including:
(1) Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); (2) Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents; (3) Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended); (4) Law on Inspection (amended); (5) Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning;
(6) The Law on Election of the MPA and the People's Council deputies (amended); (7) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the People's Court; (8) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the People's Procuracy; (9) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations; (10) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Law, Trade Union Law and Youth Law;
11. Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Code of Civil Procedure, Law on Administrative Procedure, Law on Conciliation and Dialogue at Court, Law on Juvenile Justice and Law on Tr admittedness and (6) Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies (amended); 13. Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
At the 9th Session, relevant agencies will also submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of 11 other important projects and drafts.
