At noon on May 7 (local time), General Secretary To Lam, his wife Ngo Phuong Ly and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Ethnic Culture Village (Etno-Aul) - a unique destination in Kazakhstan, according to VNA.
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also attended.
At the Ethnic Culture Village, the two leaders visited and learned about national historical areas and traditional craft villages; enjoyed music, experienced tourism culture, folk games, and hunting practices.
At the pilgrim culture area, the President of Kazakhstan invited General Secretary To Lam to participate in the traditional Kazakhstan custom of cutting the handstrings for the baby to have just turned 1 year old with the meaning of good luck and good luck for the baby.
Etno-Aul vividly depicts the life and culture of Kazakhstan nomads. Located near the Kazanat horse racing complex in the capital Astana, this complex covers an area of about 2,500m2, including 30 traditional tents designed in ancient style, giving visitors a realistic experience of the life of tourists.

Etno-Aul is not only an exhibition venue but also a center for organizing unique cultural events. Visitors can participate in music festivals, handicraft fairs and folk games such as archery, horse riding and other traditional sports, along with traditional culinary fairs.
A special highlight of Etno-Aul is the combination of tradition and modernity. In 2024, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) set up a separate tent in the area to organize educational and recreational activities for children, including traditional games, handmade seminars, and interactive activities to promote integration and protect children's rights.
With a variety of activities and programs, this place is not only a museum that preserves culture but also an attractive center for education and entertainment.
