In the afternoon of February 8, Mr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led a central working delegation to visit and wish Tet to poor households, workers and officers and soldiers of the armed forces in Dien Bien province.
Participating in the working delegation were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Mr. Tran Tien Dung - Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee.

Visiting and giving gifts to 200 poor households, people in difficult circumstances, and workers in Muong Pon commune, Mr. Doan Minh Huan expressed his joy when witnessing the changes of the commune after more than a year of being heavily affected by natural disasters and flash floods.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics acknowledged and praised the efforts of the people of all ethnic groups in Muong Pon commune to overcome difficulties, proactively overcome the consequences of flash floods (July 2024), gradually rebuild infrastructure, create a stable life and contribute to socio-economic development.

Mr. Doan Minh Huan wished that the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Muong Pon commune would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and self-reliance to rise up, contribute to building the people's hearts and take care of building a strong commune-level government.
As Tet Nguyen Dan is approaching, Mr. Doan Minh Huan requested the Party Committee and government of Dien Bien province to pay attention to the poor and policy families, ensuring that no family is without Tet; so that Tet for each family is a warm and reunited Tet.
Visiting and wishing Tet to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, the Provincial Border Guard Command and officers and soldiers of Muong Muon Border Guard Station (Muong Pon commune), Mr. Doan Minh Huan congratulated the work results achieved by the units in 2025, which have made an important contribution to ensuring security and order in the area, and maintaining the safety of border markers.

Mr. Doan Minh Huan also requested officers and soldiers of units and armed forces in the province to continue to uphold the spirit of proactively responding to situations, ensuring political security, social order and safety, and guarding peaceful borders so that people can welcome a peaceful and happy spring.
Reporting to the working delegation on Tet care activities for poor households and people in the area, Mr. Mua A Vang - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province said that from the State budget and support from organizations, businesses, and individuals, nearly 40,000 Tet gifts have been given to the people.
In which, 1,300 gifts were given to people with meritorious services and social protection beneficiaries; more than 3,000 gifts were given to workers in difficult circumstances; more than 35,000 gifts were given to poor people and people in difficult circumstances.
