At Sin Suoi Ho Border Guard Station, Mr. Doan Minh Huan and the working delegation cordially inquired about life, the combat readiness situation and presented Tet gifts to officers and soldiers during Tet. At the same time, they acknowledged, praised and wished Tet to officers and soldiers.
In Tan Phong ward, the working delegation presented gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in particularly difficult circumstances, union members, civil servants, and workers in the area. On this occasion, the working delegation also visited and wished Tet to the Provincial Police and the Lai Chau Provincial Military Command.
Speaking at the units, Mr. Doan Minh Huan acknowledged the strong transformations of Lai Chau. At the same time, he affirmed that the change in appearance from urban to rural areas, along with the socio-economic achievements of the province in the past time, are clear proof of the solidarity and spirit of overcoming difficulties of the army and people in the province.
Within the framework of the program, the working delegation presented 500 million VND to people in Lai Chau province; presented 50 gifts from the Central Government to poor households (each gift including 2 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300 thousand VND); 16 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Leaders of Lai Chau province presented 20 gifts to poor households from local funds.
On behalf of the entire people of all ethnic groups in the province, Mr. Tong Thanh Binh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province sincerely thanked the Party, State, and Mr. Doan Minh Huan personally for their affection and concern for Lai Chau province.
