In the afternoon of July 31, Hoa Phu Commune People's Council (Dak Lak province) XIV term, 2026-2031 held the first thematic meeting to consider cadre work and decide on some contents on socio-economic development of the locality.
Mr. Pham Tien Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoa Phu commune and Mr. Pham Hong Thai - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of the commune co-chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the Hoa Phu Commune People's Council approved the submission on dismissal from the position of delegate of the XIV Commune People's Council, term 2026-2031 for Mr. Nguyen The Hau due to being transferred and transferred to another job.
Next, the delegates proceeded to elect the title of Chairman of Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee, term XIV, 2026-2031.
As a result, Mr. Vo Ke Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Phu commune was trusted and elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Committee with 100% of the delegates present in favor.
The session also confirmed the election results of Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Hoa Phu commune, elected as a member of the People's Committee of Hoa Phu commune for the 2026-2031 term, with 100% of the delegates present in favor.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Vo Ke Thang expressed his respect for the trust of the Commune People's Council and delegates. The new Chairman of Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee said that this is both an honor and a responsibility to the Party Committee, government and local people.
Mr. Vo Ke Thang committed to working with the collective of the Commune People's Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity, inherit the achieved results, innovate thinking and improve operational efficiency.
The new Chairman of Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee also affirmed that he will maintain the qualities of honesty and dedication; promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility; stick to reality and listen to the legitimate aspirations of the people.
According to Mr. Vo Ke Thang, the Commune People's Committee will focus on solving practical issues of the locality, promoting socio-economic development, fully implementing social security policies, developing the labor market, creating livelihoods and jobs for people.
At the meeting, the Hoa Phu Commune People's Council also voted to approve the resolution supplementing the list of public investment projects from the local budget in 2026 and the resolution supplementing the list of projects implemented from the targeted additional funding source in 2026.
Resolutions are the basis for localities to implement projects and works, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and improving people's lives.
