On December 20, representatives of the BSR Factory Bloc coordinated with the Ve Giang commune government to organize the handover ceremony of the Great Unity House to the family of Mr. Huynh Kien (76 years old), a relative of the martyr. The house was repaired and upgraded from the contributed funding of employees of BSR Factory, in response to the social security program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses".

Attending the handover ceremony, on the side of Ve Giang commune, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hoa - Chairman of the People's Council of the commune; Mr. Doan Viet Van - Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune; along with representatives of Bac My village and local people. On the side of BSR, there were Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Director of Dung Quat Oil Refinery (NMLD); and representatives of the functional departments of the Factory Bloc.
After 2 months of launching, the new house construction support fund of the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the BSR Factory Block has raised more than 160 million VND, becoming an effective funding source to support the repair and construction of new houses for two households in especially difficult circumstances in Ve Giang commune, the family of Mr. Huynh Kien and Mr. Nguyen Phao. In which, Mr. Huynh Kien's family is a relative of a martyr, while Mr. Nguyen Phao's family is a near-poor household.

After more than 1 month of construction, Mr. Huynh Kien's house has been repaired and reinforced with a new roof, new walls being plastered and painted, the foundation has been raised, ensuring safety during the rainy and stormy season. At the same time, the house has also been renovated to have a shelter at high altitudes during floods. From a seriously degraded house with many potential safety risks, Mr. Kien's family now has a more spacious and stable place to live with peace of mind.
Mr. Kien's new house was supported with construction funds contributed by employees of the BSR Factory Bloc. In which, the BSR Factory Bloc includes the following departments: Production Operation, Maintenance and Repair, Production Plan, Production Engineering and Quality Safety.

Mr. Doan Viet Van - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ve Giang commune said that there are currently more than 38,600 people in the commune, merged from Song Ve town, Tu Nghia commune and Nghia Phuong commune. Because it is located along the Ve River and in low-lying areas, the lives of local people still face many difficulties, especially during the rainy and flood season.
The support of BSR Factory's employees to repair the house for Mr. Huynh Kien's family is a great encouragement for the local government and people. The project not only helps Mr. Kien's family have a more solid and safer place to live during the storm season, but also demonstrates BSR's affection and social responsibility towards the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, representative of BSR Factory, Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Director of Dung Quat Refinery shared: "We are very happy and moved to see the house repaired spaciously and solidly. The contributions of employees of the Factory have brought clear and practical results. Joining hands to support the families of martyrs not only shows responsibility to the community but also the affection and gratitude of voters in the work of gratitude. The project was completed on schedule, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, adding to its significance. We hope that the new house will help Mr. Kien's family's life become more stable and reduce difficulties".

Receiving the handover of the new house, Mr. Huynh Kien expressed his deep gratitude to the BSR staff and the local government for their care and support for the family. At this age, I didnt think I could repair the house. Having a solid roof like this, I feel much more secure every time the rainy and stormy season comes, Mr. Kien emotionally shared.

According to the plan, after completing the handover of the house to Mr. Huynh Kien's family, the BSR Factory Bloc will continue to deploy support to build a house for Mr. Nguyen Phao's family, a near-poor household in Ve Giang commune. At the same time, survey and select other difficult cases to maintain a series of social security activities regularly and long-term.
