This activity is part of the plan to build Great Unity houses for disadvantaged households in border communes of Quang Ngai province in 2025, from the funding source sponsored by BSR.
Previously, Binh Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Son commune to conduct a survey and select households in difficult circumstances in the area. After the survey, the units have developed a detailed plan, organized construction implementation, and ensured that it is suitable for the actual situation of the locality. Up to now, the Great Unity House project for Mr. Pham Ban has been completed, handed over, and is ready to be put into use.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Cao Tuan Si, Director of Dung Quat Oil Refinery - representative of BSR shared: "This is one of the practical social security activities that BSR has implemented. Thereby, demonstrating the company's commitment to the community, especially families in difficult circumstances in border areas. We always consider social security work an important part of the Company's sustainable development strategy. With the spirit of "mutual love", BSR wishes to accompany the community, help those in difficult circumstances, and create opportunities for everyone to rise up in life".
At the same time, Mr. Cao Tuan Si sent his best wishes to Mr. Pham Ban, and hoped that the new house would be a source of motivation to help him overcome all difficulties in life.

Lieutenant Colonel Duong Ngoc Khuong - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command emphasized: "The project not only has material significance, but also tightens the relationship between the army - people, businesses and local governments. Thereby, aiming to support difficult circumstances, especially in border areas of Quang Ngai province".
Mr. Pham Quang Thai - Vice Chairman of Dong Son Commune People's Committee sent his sincere thanks to the organizations, businesses and functional forces for their concern and support for the locality in improving people's lives. "Hopefully, in the coming time, there will be more meaningful programs like this, to help disadvantaged families in the area," Mr. Thai expressed.
Mr. Pham Ban is a special case, disabled and living alone, has no children and is a policy family in Dong Son commune. Receiving the new house sponsored by the units, Mr. Ban emotionally shared: I would like to express my deep gratitude to BSR, the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province and the local government for helping me have this shelter. This is an extremely valuable gift for me, helping me feel secure in living the remaining days".

The new house helps Mr. Pham Ban stabilize his life, in addition, it is a symbol of solidarity and the spirit of "mutual love" between the border guards, businesses and localities. The Great Unity House construction program not only brings material value but also strengthens solidarity, contributing to building a connected and sustainable society.
This is one of the meaningful activities that BSR carries out within the framework of the social security program, aiming to support families in especially difficult circumstances, contributing to the sustainable development of the community, especially in border areas of Quang Ngai province.
