Attending the Safety - Health - Environment (HSE) Summary Program, there were representatives of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) partners in HSE work such as PTSC Quang Ngai, PVChem, PVMR, PMS, PVS, BSPPT, Lilama-EME, Economic Security Department (Quang Ngai Provincial Police), the Target Protection Police force, the Fire Prevention and Fighting & Rescue Team of Region 2 and Dung Quat Border Guard Station.
On BSR's side, there was Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Factory Director; along with Heads/Deputy Heads of the unit's functional departments.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Factory Director - said that the factory has now achieved more than 49 million safe working hours, with great contributions from partners and accompanying units. BSR could not have completed its tasks without the contributions and support of partner units, especially in the successful and safe 5th general maintenance.
“BSR organized the conference to recognize the positive achievements and contributions of units in ensuring occupational safety and environmental protection for Dung Quat Refinery over the past year.
I hope that this will be an open discussion to continue to propose solutions to ensure the plant operates safely and better in the coming year. At the same time, it will create solidarity and connection between units, contributing to the common goal of ensuring Dung Quat Oil Refinery continues to operate safely and stably in production activities" - Director of Dung Quat Oil Refinery emphasized.
The conference was held to summarize the results of ATSKMT implementation in 2024 and discuss safety plans in 2025. In addition, it promptly recognized the contributions of contractors in successfully completing all ATSKMT targets of BSR in 2024, helping BSR complete the milestone of 49 million safe working hours.
In 2024, BSR recorded no work-related accidents, leaks, and explosions; no environmental incidents, or security incidents. BSR updated 53 level 2, 3, and 4 safety documents. BSR also provided an average of 22 hours of safety training per person per year.
In addition, the unit has also conducted more than 177 emergency response drills. In 2024, BSR also detected/identified and corrected more than 353 unsafe behaviors and working conditions. Thereby, helping the factory to always be absolutely safe and operate at optimal capacity.
At the program, the partners also presented a summary report on occupational safety and health work in 2024 and a plan to continue ensuring factory safety in 2025.
In addition, the partners also shared experiences and improvements in ensuring occupational safety and health at Dung Quat Oil Refinery. At the same time, they shared and discussed difficulties and recommendations in the coordination work to ensure occupational safety and health at Dung Quat Oil Refinery in the past and proposed solutions for implementation in the coming time.
Also at the program, BSR organized awards to recognize the contributions of partners and contractors in ensuring Dung Quat Refinery operates safely in 2024.
Contractors such as PTSC Quang Ngai, PVChem, PMS, PSV, BSPPT, PVMR, Lilama EME, units under the Quang Ngai Provincial Police such as: Economic Security Department, Target Protection Police Force, Fire Prevention & Rescue Team of Region 2, Target Protection Police Platoon - Mobile Police Department and Dung Quat Border Guard Station... have contributed to helping BSR ensure safe and stable operation of the factory and reach the milestone of 49 million safe working hours.
