Forum "Global Supply Chain Transformation and Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses". Opportunities to improve competitiveness for Vietnamese businesses.

In the context of the global supply chain undergoing rapid changes, identifying trends, proactively adapting and improving competitiveness are becoming an important requirement for Vietnamese businesses. This is also an issue associated with the goal of improving the business environment and enhancing national competitiveness that the Government is setting out. Accordingly, in order to contribute to the implementation of the goals in Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 8, 2026 of the Government on improving the business environment and enhancing national competitiveness, Corporate Finance Magazine in coordination with relevant units organizes the Forum "Global Supply Chain Transformation and Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses" scheduled for September 18 in Hanoi, with the participation of representatives of management agencies, associations, businesses, experts, scientists and press agencies.

The program is accompanied by PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - JSC (PVFCCo).

Creating a favorable business environment, removing barriers, improving the operational efficiency of businesses and strengthening the competitiveness of the economy is of great significance in the process of international integration. These orientations also set requirements for businesses to proactively innovate, improve internal capacity and adapt to market changes.

The restructuring of the global supply chain is creating both opportunities and challenges for Vietnam. With an increasingly important position in the international production and trade network, Vietnam has the opportunity to attract investment, expand markets and increase the level of participation of domestic enterprises in value chains.

However, to take advantage of these opportunities, Vietnamese businesses need to improve production capacity, technology, management, human resources and the ability to meet increasingly high standards of the international market. In particular, shifting from participating in stages with low added value to being more proactive in the value chain is an requirement for the business community. From that reality, the Forum will focus on exchanging views on the trend of global supply chain shifts, impacts on Vietnam and policy orientations to improve competitiveness; and analyze opportunities and solutions for Vietnamese businesses to improve their ability to participate in the supply chain. The discussions also focused on practical issues such as developing supporting industries, improving the ability to meet the standards of the supply chain, tax policies to support businesses, as well as the ability to proactively seek orders and expand international markets.

At the Seminar - Dialogue Forum, it will be a space for management agencies, experts and businesses to directly exchange about opportunities, difficulties and solutions in the process of improving competitiveness and expanding connections with the international market. Through the forum, the Organizing Committee expects to contribute to strengthening connections between management agencies - experts - associations - businesses, promoting information exchange and experience sharing, thereby supporting businesses to proactively adapt to changes in the global supply chain.
