From March 17, 2026, CIC launched the Personal Credit Score (K40) report - a product to help people quickly look up, understand and proactively improve their credit scores.

Understand credit scores in one report

Unlike previous summary reports, K40 is designed in the direction of focusing on core, easy-to-understand information, including: credit score, credit rating, customer position compared to the general level and especially the reason code table affecting credit score.

The highlight of K40 lies in "decoding" credit scores. Instead of just providing numbers, the system will specifically point out the reasons why scores increase or decrease, such as the emergence of many new loans or the existence of overdue debts. Through this, users can identify unreasonable financial behaviors and adjust them in a timely manner.

Easy to look up, periodic updates

People can look up K40 reports online via the iCIC application with simple and convenient operations. Credit scores are updated by CIC periodically every month, helping users track changes and improve their credit records over time.

In the context that credit scores are increasingly becoming an important factor in lending approval, proactively monitoring and improving credit scores not only helps enhance personal financial reputation but also increases access to capital, with the opportunity to enjoy higher limits and better interest rates from credit institutions.

In addition, the dissemination of credit score lookup and tracking tools also contributes to improving the transparency of the financial market, minimizing risks for both borrowers and lending institutions.

Currently, customers looking up K40 reports through CIC have a fee of 12,000 VND/report (excluding VAT), creating conditions for people to easily access and experience the product.

The birth of K40 not only brings a convenient credit information lookup tool, but also helps people gradually form the habit of managing personal finances more transparently and effectively in the digital age.
