The Trade Union organization in Hanoi is strongly shifting its activities to the grassroots level, taking union members and workers as the center.

Implementing the policy of renovating and arranging the organizational structure in a streamlined and effective direction, the Trade Union organization in Hanoi is strongly shifting its activities to the grassroots level, taking union members and workers as the center.

In the new model, commune and ward trade unions play a direct connecting role with grassroots trade unions, businesses and workers in the area.

At the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28, 2026, Chairman of Dinh Cong Ward Trade Union Vu Hoang Linh said that the Trade Union organization is always a support for union members and workers, and also a bridge between workers and the political system and businesses.

According to data announced at the event, Dinh Cong Ward Trade Union currently manages 66 grassroots trade unions with more than 4,450 union members.

This is a relatively large force, posing the requirement that the Ward Trade Union not only maintains regular activities but also must innovate the content and methods of implementation to better meet the actual needs of workers.

Over the past time, the Ward Trade Union has focused on caring for the lives of union members, supporting workers in difficult circumstances; implementing activities in Workers' Month, Action Month on occupational safety and health, the "Tet Sum vay" program, "Trade Union Tet Market" and many cultural and sports activities.

Propaganda on labor laws, social insurance, and health insurance has also been promoted, contributing to helping workers improve their understanding and be more proactive in protecting their legitimate rights and interests.

When Trade Unions and businesses jointly care for workers

In practice, the rights of workers are not only expressed through wages or compulsory regimes, but also in the working environment, dialogue, spiritual activities and practical welfare programs.

When the Trade Union understands the needs of union members, and businesses proactively accompany them, care programs can go deeper into the lives of workers. This is also a foundation to help increase engagement, create consensus and limit problems arising in labor relations.

In Dinh Cong ward, the employment situation of workers is generally stable, working conditions, income and welfare at many units and businesses are concerned. According to information announced at the Ward Trade Union Congress, there were no strikes or layoffs in the area, reflecting a relatively stable foundation of labor relations.

TAPUHO accompanies Trade Union welfare programs

Along with the process of innovating Trade Union activities towards grassroots level, many businesses also actively participate in welfare programs for union members and workers. In which, TAPUHO is a business that actively accompanies Trade Union organizations, closely following the direction of caring for workers of the VGCL.

TAPUHO is one of the top 3 suppliers in the "Trade Union Online Tet Market 2026" program implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, thereby showing the increasingly deep participation of businesses in activities to care for the lives and welfare of union members and workers. Through the program, TAPUHO brings practical household products closer to workers, and at the same time builds preferential shopping policies suitable to the actual needs of families.

Not only accompanying in national-scale programs, TAPUHO also strengthens coordination with industry trade unions, grassroots trade unions and businesses to implement welfare programs, shopping incentives and gifts specifically for union members and workers. Direct connection with trade union organizations helps businesses better understand the needs of each labor group, thereby choosing more suitable products, incentive levels and implementation forms.

In parallel with that, TAPUHO develops Trade Union gift solutions and business gifts in a flexible direction in terms of product, quantity and budget. The prioritized products are all associated with daily living needs, have high applicability and long-term use value, thereby helping each gift program not only bring spiritual encouragement but also create practical value in the life of the recipient.

Through accompanying from large-scale welfare programs to activities at each industry union and grassroots trade union, TAPUHO aims to become a long-term partner of the Trade Union organization and businesses in caring for workers. This is also how businesses contribute to bringing welfare programs closer to practical needs, improving union members' experiences and creating more value for workers' care activities.

Connecting from the grassroots to create a sustainable foundation

In the new Trade Union model, commune and ward trade unions can play a connecting role in the area, but grassroots trade unions are still the closest point of contact with workers.

When the Trade Union organization proactively grasps the thoughts, strengthens dialogue and businesses jointly participate in taking care of workers' lives, the relationship between the two sides will have an additional foundation for stable development.

With 66 grassroots trade unions under management, Dinh Cong Ward Trade Union has a lot of room to continue expanding its organization, improving the quality of operations and building more practical programs. The participation of businesses in this process will contribute to bringing Trade Union welfare closer to practical needs.
