On August 25, the grassroots Trade Union of Huu Nghi Carbonate Calcium Joint Stock Company held a launching ceremony, towards celebrating the 81st National Day September 2nd.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Phuong Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks in charge of Phu Tho region; Ms. Vu Thi Thuy - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Director of the company and 60 workers.
At the ceremony, the Trade Union Committee of Phu Tho Industrial Parks awarded decisions to admit union members, recognize grassroots trade unions, the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the company's grassroots trade union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Phuong Dong acknowledged the concern and facilitation of businesses in the process of establishing trade union organizations.
At the same time, it is proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon develop operating regulations, assign tasks; grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers; well perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
Grassroots trade unions also need to coordinate with businesses to well implement democracy regulations, negotiate and sign collective labor agreements; promote emulation movements, contributing to building a safe, civilized, and friendly working environment.
