During the session, EVNHANOI ensures continuous and safe electricity supply, with backup for event venues such as the National Assembly Building and Ba Dinh Hall, National Assembly Office headquarters, hotels, guest houses serving National Assembly delegates, media agencies, etc.
Particularly important locations are powered by 2 grid power sources with an ATS system that automatically transfers power and a backup generator along with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system used for lighting and sound inside the two regular meeting rooms, the press conference room, etc. On-call and incident handling and electrical repairs are organized 24/7 throughout the event.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phu - Deputy Director of Ba Dinh Electricity Company - said: "We have increased contact inspection, measured power lines and transformer stations to promptly detect and prevent cases of overload and unsafe contact.
In addition, we also developed a plan and coordinated with the National Assembly Building management unit to conduct incident handling drills to proactively ensure electricity as well as ensure safe and stable operation of equipment to serve the session."
Mr. Le Manh Tan - Technical Officer of the National Assembly Building said: "Before and during the session, we coordinated with Ba Dinh Electricity Company to check the operation and load test of generator systems, backup power sources, UPS and ATS at power supply points.
At the same time, prepare enough spare equipment, supplies and generators, mobile units ready to work to handle incidents as well as ensure smooth communication in all situations."
EVNHANOI has organized nearly 200 shifts to operate and patrol the cable lines to prevent incidents and violations of the power grid safety corridor.
Regularly urge units to implement the established power assurance plan, closely follow and grasp the requirements for additional power assurance to promptly mobilize units for implementation.
