MB launches program to plant 1 million trees for Truong Sa

HiGreen Truong Sa - a program jointly initiated by MB and the Navy - aims to plant one million new trees in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province.

As a pioneer bank in digital transformation and green transformation, MB aims to contribute 160 billion VND, of which 50 billion VND is committed by MB to be matched through green financial actions and outreach activities. The remainder will be mobilized from contributions from organizations and individuals through direct support

No small contribution is congended for a big goal. We respect the support of individuals and organizations across the country, domestic and foreign partners who have and will work with MB to realize the goal of planting one million trees in Truong Sa island district - Colonel Luu Trung Thai, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MB, emphasized.

A million trees planted in Truong Sa not only create a green color on the map of the Fatherland, but will have a comprehensive impact on the island's ecosystem. The trees provide shade, reduce temperature, facilitate agricultural production, and improve the quality of life of the army and people on the island.

Following the success of previous HiGreen seasons, HiGreen Truong Sa is the next step in the journey to realize MB's commitment to a green Vietnam, HiGreen seasons 1 and 2 have attracted tens of thousands of participants, accumulated millions of km of running to convert into funding for green projects, focusing on landscape and environmental improvement activities.

This year, HiGreen Truong Sa is restarted to show gratitude to island soldiers and our compatriots who are sticking to the sea day and night through the goal of planting one million trees, contributing to building a disciplined, green, clean and beautiful environmental landscape on the island.

MB and its customers and partners have done many meaningful and practical things to support the programs about the sea and islands of the Fatherland, including works with symbolic significance.
