In the context of the Government's recent issuance of Decision 1131/QD-TTg identifying AI as the leader among 11 national strategic technology groups, the formation of public-private partnerships to promote the development of indigenous AI is an inevitable step.

On June 20, 2025, the AI Alliance of Au Lac was officially launched with the participation of more than 20 leading units in artificial intelligence in Vietnam such as the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, MobiFone, VNPT, FPT, CMC, BKAV, Misa, MoMo, VNPAY, Zalo, AI For Vietnam, AI Hay, N2TP, Finhay and other academies and universities: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, Academy of cryptography, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, FPT University.

Notably, the presence of Fintech unicorns such as MoMo contributes to concretizing the Unions goal in building large language models (LLM) capable of processing Vietnamese accurately, naturally and in line with Vietnamese culture, thereby contributing to raising peoples awareness and promoting the development of the national digital economy. Currently, MoMo has widely applied AI and natural language processing technology to core products, serving more than 30 million users per day - from personalized experience, spending management, customer care to credit services.

We believe that AI needs to be developed to solve specific problems, close to the lives of Vietnamese people from spending, saving to access credit. MoMo joins the Au Lac AI Alliance not only as a technology enterprise, but as one of the domestic forces that are directly bringing AI into life, serving tens of millions of people every day, said Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep, Co-founder of MoMo Financial Technology Group.

Participating in the Au Lac AI Alliance once again affirms MoMo's commitment to long-term and serious investment in applying artificial intelligence to solve the practical financial - consumer needs of tens of millions of Vietnamese people.

In addition to developing an AI ecosystem with Vietnamese identity, MoMo is also actively participating in public-private cooperation forums to accompany the State in the national policy making process. Most recently, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong - Co-founder, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of MoMo Financial Technology Group - was appointed as one of 18 members of the National Advisory Council on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

Previously, Mr. Thai Tri Hung - MoMo Technology Director - became a member of the Executive Committee of the National Data Society (2025 - 2030). At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep - Co-founder of MoMo - is also holding the role of Vice President of VNISA South (VNISA - Vietnam Information Security Association).

The above milestones show the recognition of state management agencies for MoMo's technological capacity and long-term, methodical commitment, thereby affirming the influence of domestic fintech enterprises in building and shaping national policies. This also demonstrates the Government's openness in absorbing initiatives and practical experience from the private sector. It is the close coordination between fintech enterprises, state management agencies and the academic world that will help Vietnam gradually improve its position in the field of artificial intelligence and digital technology on the world map.
