Ron 95 gasoline price increased by nearly 50%, diesel oil increased by more than 60% compared to the end of February, making input fuel prices a major pressure for many businesses. For Mr. Do Chi Dong, owner of a car decoration and beauty facility in Ho Chi Minh City, the pressure is even greater when his team has up to 3 cars "drinking" gasoline together.
He calculated that just the Isuzu D-Max alone has to refuel once every 3-4 days, each time costing about 3 million VND, while the Hyundai Starex gasoline engine consumes up to 6 million VND, and add fuel for the Suzuki van. In total, he has to take tens of millions of VND out of his wallet for fuel each month. If gasoline prices continue to be high, this expense may increase by another 20-30%.
That is why Mr. Dong decided to urgently add to the EC Van model squad - VinFast's small electric vehicle. After many months of operation, especially in the current period when fuel prices are "skyrocketing", according to Mr. Dong, the decision to switch to EC Van shows even more obvious economic efficiency.

Mr. Dong assessed that EC Van's use of an electric power steering wheel, similar to an automatic transmission model, helps drivers significantly reduce the intensity of operation compared to traditional manual transmission valves. No longer having to continuously handle the clutch pedal and gear lever in traffic jam conditions, drivers are therefore significantly less stressed.
In the process of serving business operations, Mr. Dong said that EC Van completely meets the needs of the showroom thanks to the rear cargo box with a capacity of 2.6 m3 and a load capacity of 650 kg. According to his sharing, the car can accommodate 2 motorbikes and many accompanying parts while still ensuring stable operation.

Regarding the balance between function and economy, Mr. Do Chi Dong affirmed that this is still an effective means of transportation. After a period of practical experience, he said he is considering investing in an EC Van to continue expanding his transportation fleet.
