Initiated in 2003, the Vietnam Strong Brand Program has become the largest annual event organized by Vietnam Economic Magazine - VnEconomy - Vietnam Economic Times, for the Vietnamese business community. This is the 8th consecutive year that Nam A Bank has been honored at this program.
With the theme "Pioneering Green Investment", the 2024 Vietnam Strong Brands program surveyed, evaluated, announced and honored innovative business brands with outstanding achievements in production, business, trade and service activities towards green growth and sustainable development.
Surpassing a series of potential candidates, Nam A Bank was highly appreciated by the Voting Council through many criteria such as digital transformation; green transformation; prioritizing the use of clean energy; protecting the brand and focusing on promoting policies towards employees and social responsibility.
In its sustainable development strategy, Nam A Bank is implementing a comprehensive financial model with two main pillars: “digital” and “green”. This bank has gradually raised its position in the market by receiving many achievements from the successful implementation of this strategy, bringing different experiences to customers.
Nam A Bank has continuously invested, pioneered innovation, and brought customers high-tech financial products and services. Pioneering in “digitalization” has contributed significantly to helping Nam A Bank and its customers minimize factors affecting the environment.
The bank has continuously upgraded its digital banking ecosystems Open Banking, Robot OPBA and ONEBANK. In particular, since its launch, the ONEBANK automatic digital transaction point has helped customers proactively transact, even on holidays and Tet, and brought seamless and different experiences to customers. Accordingly, ONEBANK has grown remarkably at a rate of more than 40% per quarter, with millions of transactions, contributing significantly to the development of Nam A Bank in the digital banking sector.
In the field of green credit, Nam A Bank has “greened” its credit portfolio, continuously building a portfolio of green credit products with a focus on the agriculture, aquaculture and renewable energy sectors. The bank aims to increase the proportion of green credit to 20-25% (2-3 times the current proportion).
With the right business strategy, Nam A Bank has recorded positive business growth results. At the same time, it has increasingly raised its position in the market when it has been highly appreciated by domestic and foreign organizations through a series of awards such as: Outstanding Bank for Green Credit and Outstanding Retail Bank awarded by the Vietnam Retail Banking Forum 2024; Best Workplace in Asia 2024 and Workplace with the Best Employee Care 2024 awarded by HR Asia; Most Innovative Ecosystem in Vietnam 2024 and Most Innovative Open Banking Application in Vietnam 2024 voted by Asian Banking & Finance Magazine...
